Job Description: Sales and Account Manager

Working with an experienced management team, this role offers a great opportunity for a talented sales individual to help shape and drive the commercial strategy of a successful early stage business and take full ownership and responsibility of our commercial activity. Reporting to the managing director you will help input into all areas of the business – from new product development, new business and investment strategy, to marketing.
About You
The type of candidates we are looking for are experienced, ambitious and have a genuine passion for mobile, content marketing, media and advertising. Working with the managing director , you will be responsible for driving sales and managing key accounts. Selling to both clients (B2B) and agencies, you need to be creative and digitally savvy. It is essential that you have a pro-active, can do, diligent approach to your work. You will also have a key role to play in the development of new sales strategies and the launch of new products to market – taking ownership of the commercial strategy of a high-growth business.
Core Responsibilities
- Work with the managing director and marketing team, pitching to clients at both board and senior management level
- Respond to in-bound website enquiries and leads from marketing initiatives
- Create and implement BtP’s sales and high growth strategy
- Identify sales opportunities in key sectors that BtP operate
- Liaise with marketing and digital teams to deliver and implement BtP’s products and services to our clients
- Attend trade exhibitions and network at events to develop relationships and identify new sales opportunities
- Manage existing key accounts and identify new sales opportunities
Skills and Experience
- Degree educated with strong academic background
- Self-starter and team player with a natural ability to think independently and identify sales opportunities
- Minimum of 3-5 years’ experience of successful sales and account management, particularly selling digital marketing solutions to clients or agencies
- Software / SAAS sales in B2B background would be an asset (preferable)
- Experience of delivering against quarterly and annual revenue targets
- Experience of selling marketing and content marketing solutions (preferable)
- Relationship building – credibility and gravitas to gain entry to key decision makers both agency and client side
- Account management skills – strong client service ethic and a keen interest in building long term business partnerships
- Problem-solving – analytical skills to interpret sales and market trend information to identify new revenue opportunities
- Influencer – creative, confident and articulate with good written, oral and presentation skills
- Media and market landscape – good grasp of marketing and advertising landscape, with understanding of the dynamics of large media agencies and corporate organisations
- Media savvy – understanding of integrated advertising communications, especially within digital and mobile landscape
- Accountable – able to work under pressure and to tight deadlines
- Excellent skills in Word, PowerPoint and Excel
